HOW TO PLAY

Carcassonne games are all about tile-laying. Players build the landscape as the game progresses, by placing tiles face-up onto the playing area. Tiles must be placed so that they extend the features on the tiles it touches. For example, roads need to connect to roads and fields need to connect to fields. After placing a tile, a player may station a follower on a feature of the new tile. Once the last tile has been placed, the game ends and scoring takes place. All features score points for the players who have the most followers on them. The player with the most points wins the game.
