VIDEO: Pandemic Legacy Season One Unboxing

Welcome to our brand-new unboxing video! This time round we're taking a look at the hugely popular Pandemic Legacy Season One!

This legacy game, published by Z-Man Games, was released in 2015 and shot straight to the top of the Board Game Geek Top 100 list!  Pandemic Legacy Season One is a co-operative campaign game, with an overarching story-arc played through 12-24 sessions, depending on how well your group does at the game.

Just like the original Pandemic game, you and your team must race against the clock and travel across the globe in order to prevent the deadly plagues from getting out of hand. You'll be treating disease hotspots and researching cures for them at the same time.

During the campaign you will literally rip up game components, encounter new rules, discover new cards, write on old cards and place permanent stickers on your board. A character can even be lost entirely, at which point it's no longer available for play.

As stated in our unboxing video, Pandemic Legacy is available in both blue and red colour schemes. Both editions can be found on the Zatu Games store:

Even more exciting is the news that Pandemic Legacy Season Two will be released later in the year. Once again there will be two different editions being published, with a red cover and blue cover being released.

The box art itself was released at the New York Toy Fair and you can see it for yourself on the Toy Fair Special edition of the Warp Tunnel - where you also find out a little bit extra about the upcoming release.
