Sony have given their fans a first look at two brand-new licensed PlayStation 4 pro controllers which are due for release later in the year. Sony used their blog section on their EU website to unveil the two new controllers and I am here today to share this new bit of tech with you.
These pro controllers have been designed to give Sony's "Competitive and pro players more choice," and they certainly look the part. Both controllers have been developed with the use of Dualshock 4, whilst ensuring that "gamers can enjoy a plug & play experience with any model of PS4."
Let's take a look at these pro controllers. First up we have the Razer Raiju.
Razer Raiju Pro Controller
The pro controller to help you become victorious at eSports tournaments. The controller comes in PlayStation's natural black colour but also features a dark shade of blue on the triggers and on the underneath of the grip handles.
The Razer Raiju has been equipped with controller customisation and ergonomics and has the following features to help give you the best gaming experience possible:
1- Two extra bumpers
2- Two extra detachable triggers
3- Trigger-stop switches and hair trigger mode
4- 3.5mm headset jack with headset volume and mic mute controls
5- Detachable analog stick rubber caps
Nacon Revolution Pro Controller
Nacon worked alongside pro gamers to help develop the Revolution Pro Controller. This means that the needs of the pro gamer have been met with this stylish controller and it could be the one to help guide you to victory.
Like the Razer, the Nacon Revolution comes in black but has blue features - mainly around the right toggle. The left toggle and the D-pad have been switched around on the Revolution - making it quite similar in appearance to the Xbox controller.
Here are just some of the cool features that the Revolution has:
1- 46 Degree amplitude dual analogue sticks
2- Four extra shortcut buttons
3- Eight-way directional pad
4- Two internal compartments with six additional weights - for tailored balance and feel
5- Four custom profiles - all configurable via the companion PC application
Neither controller has an official price yet but if you are a serious gamer then we suggest that you keep an eye on these two new pro controllers as we enter the holiday season!
