NEWS: Next Station Tokyo Announced

Amazing news for fans of Next Station London (for which there are lots and I consider myself a mega fan) the next game in the series has been announced called Next Station Tokyo.

Once again this game is published by Blue Orange Games and is designed by Matthew Dunstan (Elysium, The Guild of Merchant Explorers, Village Rails, My Shelfie). The artwork is also provided by the same artist Maxime Morin.

Leaving London behind we are now in Tokyo, Japan, and we are re-drawing the Tokyo metro in order to meet the demands of tourists.

If you haven’t played Next Station London yet (you really should of by now as it is amazing), each turn a card is flipped and you must draw a connection on your map using the coloured pencil in your possession this round. At the end of each round the pencils are passed to the player on the left and you start to draw a new line with this pencil. Bonus points are awarded for connections at the same station and for reaching lots of different zones on the map.

From initial pictures it looks like this time there is no green pencil and instead there is a brown one.

Due for release later in 2023 this game is very high on my wish list, here’ s hoping there will be many other cities given the Next Station treatment.
