NEWS: Disney Lorcana Announced

Ravensburger and Disney have had some great success in their partnerships, with the fantastic Villainous series from 2018. Now they have teamed up once again to produce something magical with a new trading card game due to be released in late 2023. Disney: Lorcana has been announced and from the press release, is expected to combine the magic of Disney characters and original artwork. Players will step into the world of Lorcana, in the role of Illumineer, a powerful sorcerer, and combine Disney’s characters from the collection available, known as the Great Illuminary.

More information about seven characters will be revealed at D23 in September, with a global release next autumn. Currently four new card set releases are expected each year to support the game, with an organised play program to keep players together, showing the two companies are committed to making this game work long term. All the details for Disney Lorcana are limited at the moment but expect more to come soon.
