We are now only a few weeks away from the release of the latest FIFA video game and this morning fans have been given a release date for the FIFA 17 demo.
The demo will be released on Friday, September 13 and is likely to be exclusively available to users on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC! This will give fans of the series their first glimpse of the highly-anticipated game, which has been given a whole host of new updates.
Teams expected to feature in the demo include the likes of Read Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Lyon.
New Features
The slogan for this year's game is 'Football has Changed' and this is actually suitable for FIFA 17. The game has a brand new engine, with EA Sports using the Frostbite Engine used in other top titles such as Battlefield and Need for Speed.
This means that this year's FIFA will look better than ever before! On the PS4 and Xbox One it will be the nearest thing to actually watching football on the television - you may not even be able to tell the difference!!
The other main feature this year is the addition of a 'story mode' campaign. Called The Journey, you will take control of Alex Hunter who is just starting-out in the world of football. Your performances on the pitch will affect how your manager treats you. Meetings can either be positive or negative and you will need to work hard in order to keep him happy.
If you don't meet the demands of your new manager you could be sold or sent out on loan. You will also need to learn how to deal with the media and their tricky questions. The Journey promises to be an intriguing and exciting addition to the series.
Set-plays have also been given a makeover and all of the Premier League managers appear in this year's game. The top division in Japan, the J1 League, is also a welcome addition to FIFA 17.
