Devil Fruits Card Case One Piece Card Game Review

Devil Fruits

Deck Deck Fruit

No trading card collection is complete without a reliable storage solution to keep your cards safe. Thankfully Bandai have released a wide range of One Piece themed deck boxes to protect your cards and your victory. Let's look at the Devil Fruits.

The Devil Fruits card case pays homage to the renowned powers that lurk inside some of the most notorious pirates on the grand line. Each fruit bestows an unimaginable power on whomever eats it, but it comes at a price, as they completely lose the ability to swim; which is fitting in a way, as the box isn’t advertised as being waterproof, and I haven’t got the guts to test it out.

Shuffle Shuffle Fruit

Admittedly, this deck box has one of the best image designs out of the whole range, as every inch of the box is plastered in various Devil Fruit patterns. This really makes the box pop and enables it to stand out on the table and catch everyone's eyes.

Much like the other deck boxes, this official Bandai product is incredibly high quality and holds firm and sturdy when it’s full of cards. It also has plenty of room inside to fit a deck of 50 cards, 1 leader and 1 Don which plenty of room to spare for other cards you pick up at tournaments or during pack openings.

This box also comes with a really useful divider that has the same devil fruit design as the main deck box. This can be used to separate the types of cards you store in the box for easy navigation. Personally, I use it to keep any cards separate that I might want to swap into my deck before I start a tournament. It makes it easy to find them with minimal effort.

If you’re the kind of player that likes to sleeve their deck for even more protection, never fear, the space inside the storage box is big enough to fit a double sleeved deck snugly without it moving around inside.

Defense Defense Fruit

Personally, I can’t express how impressed I am with the durability of this Devil Fruits deck box. A lot of work has obviously gone into designing it to hold firmly and withstand a fair amount of weight inside. But I wouldn't expect anything less from an official Bandai product. They’re renowned for making high quality products, and you can really see why when you use this deck box.

It also goes without saying that protection is important when traveling with your cards. Especially when you consider the prices of meta cards and promo’s. Thankfully, this storage solution holds your cards snugly inside and the lid stays firmly shut thanks to a very strong piece of velcro.

Final Thoughts

I’ve had the pleasure of using and reviewing a number of these deck boxes now, and each box amazes me more than the last. They’re built with long-lasting durability in mind and can withstand excessive use without showing any signs of wear and tear.

I would even go as far as to say that these are even better than the generic deck boxes you can find on the market today, whilst costing a fraction of the price and looking so much nicer at the same time.

To put it simply, this is a must have for any collector or player. If you’re looking for a reliable deck box at an amazing price; it goes without saying that this is a piece of deck storage that you can put your trust in.
