Jay Sinclair

I fell in love with boardgames playing Talismen, Rogue Tropper and Car Wars as a youth. Although I kept up playing backgammon and chess it wasn't until 8 years ago that I was brought Martin Wallace's Ankh-Morpork and was reintroduced to the much expanded world of table-top gamming. Soon we had a group of like minded friends who meet weekly to move cardboard around, throw some dice and fight meeples. I enjoy all types of games, but especially ones with a hint of luck in them. I now have shelves that are over-flowing and not enough time to play them all! I have also run a school board-games club for 5 years introducing the hobby to the next generation. This term we have 34 students playing anything from Heat: Pedal to the metal to Unmatched to Dooble to Chess to Uno. Hopefully they will continue to enjoy games in to their adult life.
