The latest set for the Marvel Villainous line, Twisted Ambitions was announced on Comicbook.com today. Adding to the already existing We Are Venom and Mischief & Malice expansions to the Infinite Power core set, Twisted Ambitions brings three new villains to attempt to take over the Marvel world. Classic cover villain Doctor Octopus and timely new arrivals to the MCU, Titania and Kang, are the three playable options in this set, each with their own particular objectives. Doc Ock has several schemes which he must complete; Titania needs to gather her strength to become Empowered and defeat She-Hulk; and Kang aims to conquer four locations in other villains domains with Robot Duplicates.
To go with the New York centric characters, a new fate deck has been included, focusing mostly on the Spider-verse and She-Hulk characters, along with a few of Kang’s foes from the Avengers. As a long term Marvel fan, this set is very appealing to me along with the high quality sculpts we expect to see with this line of games. This new set is due to be swinging into stores some time this year, so keep an eye out if it’s something you want to get your metallic claws on.
