How many years have Dragon Ball Z fans have been waiting for a new Budokai Tenkaichi game? Some say over 9,000.
Well, grab your scouter and start charging up your signature moves: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 has been officially announced by Bandai Namco.
The only release trailer doesn’t reveal much, but we do see Goku in all his glory, transforming into Super Saiyan God.
There is currently no confirmed release date or platforms for Budokai Tenkaichi 4. However, as the original games were all released in the autumns of their respective years, we are expecting it to launch at a similar time in 2024.
First appearing on PlayStation 2 in 2005, the Budokai Tenkaichi series is one of the most fondly remembered ever to be adapted from the Dragon Ball manga and anime. Notable for its huge roster of playable beloved characters and destructible 3D battle arenas, the new installation will involve the latest series, Dragon Ball Super.
I don’t know about you, but this news makes me want to grab a few friends and crack out the Ginyu Force Pose in celebration.
Keep checking back with us at Zatu Games for more details as they become available.
