Have you ever wished there was a way you could add a bit of bling to your copy of Scythe? Well, here’s the answer: a set of custom metal coins, designed with Scythe in mind!

One of the modern upscaling options for ‘deluxe’ versions of board games are metal coins. Scythe is one of the most popular modern board games of the last five years. It’s got stellar production value, which we’ve come to expect from Stonemaier Games. It’s clear to see that Jamey Stegmaier puts a lot of love into his designs. In the retail edition of Scythe though, it comes with cardboard coins. Now, cardboard coins work fine from a functional point of view. They do the job… But there’s something about the look and feel of having metal coins in your game!

This set of metal coins up the ante for the quality factor. These 80 custom coins are the work of artist Jakub Rozalski. (Rozalski also provided the art for Scythe, too.) They come in a dark ocean blue, bronze, two shades of silver, and gold. The numerations (and quantity you get here) are: $1 (x25), $3 (x15), $5 (x15), $10 (x15), and $20 (x10).

With the numbers on one side and thematic artwork on the reverse, you get a classic ‘heads and tails’ look. You can totally imagine these coins being the currency used in 1920s post-war Europa! Nothing will enhance your copy of Scythe like these distinctive, quality coins.
