General Membership Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Zatu Games reserves the right to update and change these terms and conditions at any time. This does not affect your legal rights. Use of your Zatu Games Membership Card constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and we therefore recommend you read them carefully. Zatu Games Membership Cards remain the property of Zatu Games who maintains the right to cancel the card in situations where it is deemed necessary to do so.

Using a Zatu Games Membership Card

The Club Membership card can be used in Zatu Games physical stores only. Zatu Games reserves the right to refuse membership benefits to any person unable to present their physical card on demand and we reserve the right to revoke any membership at any time and for any reason as management deems fit. At the point of sale, on management discretion, we reserve the right to exclude certain products, tournaments, food/drink or events from any or all discounts. Please show membership cards at the point of sale as membership benefits cannot be claimed retrospectively after purchase.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards

In cases where you misplace your Zatu Games Membership Card, Zatu Games will be able to replace this card, and the old card will become invalid. Zatu Games cannot be held responsible for any benefits lost whilst a replacement is being issued. We reserve the right to charge £1 for a replacement card. Zatu Games may ask for identification when issuing or re-issuing membership cards.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Club Membership Specific Terms & Conditions

Membership

Zatu Games Club Membership is available to all members of the public for use in our Zatu Games stores. It costs £5 per year for adults and £1 per year for Kids in education and Students upon showing of a valid student ID. Club Membership expires on the date on the membership card which is normally 12 months after the date of purchase. Membership may be renewed from the anniversary of purchase at the current cost.

Benefits

The cash value of your Zatu Games Membership Card is 0.0001p. The membership card benefits are redeemable in store and cannot be used online as this is a Store only benefit. Being a Zatu Games Club Member entitles the user and members of the same family 10% off all prices in store, including products, events, food & drink. We reserve the right to alter the aforementioned benefits with no notice.

Family Membership – Specific Terms & Conditions

Membership

Zatu Games Club Membership is free and available to all existing Zatu Staff and any Volunteer Event Hosts who meet the qualifying criteria as set out below. Membership may be revoked at any time by management for any reason. Membership may be renewed from the anniversary of purchase providing the qualifying criteria have been met.

Benefits

We reserve the right to alter the benefits of Zatu Family Membership with no notice. The membership card benefits are redeemable in store and a separate on-line code is issued for website discount. The current benefits of Zatu Family Membership are 15% off in-store products, 10% off online products, 50% off hot food and hot drinks, 15% off all other food, cold drinks, tournaments and events.

Qualifying Criteria

• Any current Zatu Staff Member
• Any Active Contractors & Current Business Partners at individual discretion by management
• Any Volunteer Event Host, who fulfils the following criteria:
  • Be a champion for the Zatu brand.
  • Organise & Host two qualifying events within the previous two-month period
    (Events that qualify will be assessed based on the event success & professionalism, participation numbers & length and the enjoyment & inclusivity of all players at each event.)

 

Zatu Games reserve the right to amend the qualifying criteria with no notice period. Management reserve the right to agree what constitutes a qualifying event. This includes number of participants and the length of the event.

Using a Zatu Games Family Membership On-Line Code

Upon completion of your second qualifying event you will receive an online code which is unique to your membership and is required for any online purchase to apply the 10% online discount. Purchases are monitored and regularly audited, and any misuse of the membership perks will constitute immediate withdrawal of membership privileges. In cases where you misplace your Zatu Games Family Membership online code, Zatu Games will be able to re-send the code to the email address it was originally sent to. Should you not have access to the original email address on file, Zatu Games may ask for another form of identification before re-issuing the code.
