“Between the phantasms of nightmare and the realities of the objective world a monstrous and unthinkable relationship was crystallizing, and only stupendous vigilance could avert still more direful developments.”
–H.P. Lovecraft, “The Dreams in the Witch House”

The Wages of Sin is the second part of the Circle Undone pack for Arkham Horror. Based on the works of H.P Lovecraft and other Lovecraftian writers, this is sure to send a chill up your spine. Journey to the graveyards of the city of Arkham to discover just what the locals have been seeing. Reports of ghosts have been coming in, but they can’t be true… right? At Hangman’s Hill you will discover the area’s past history with witches, and how the hill got it’s name.

The Wages of Sin introduces Spectral areas. When a card turns all areas Spectral, otherwordly effects can arise. You will have to pull your encounters from the new Spectral Encounter deck, full of new terrors. Cards like Grave-Light have different effects depending on the deck it is pulled from. It also introduces a lot of new asset cards to help you on your journey. Many of these, like Alice Luxley, work very well when paired with older investigators. Discover the power of these allies as you venture deeper into Hangman’s Hill!

Trudge into the new mists that hang over Arkham and cast off your fear. The mystery needs a solution, and the solution is only in the words of the dead.
