The Lord of the Rings (LotR), the Card Game is a cooperative, Living Card Game (LCG) published by Fantasy Flight Games. One – two players (or up to four, with two core sets) take control of powerful characters and artifacts. Players will gather allies and coordinate efforts to take on the biggest threats to Middle-earth.

The Morgul Vale is the last of six adventure packs, each providing a structured scenario to play though. Collectively, the six scenarios form The Against the Shadow Cycle – An extended adventure that takes place after the events that unfolded in the Heirs of Númenor Deluxe expansion.

Note: This product is not a standalone adventure. Players will need a copies of The LotR card game: Core set and the Heirs of Númenor expansion in order to play.

After reclaiming Osgiliath from the forces of Mordor, the heroes join the in pursuit of the fleeing enemy. They were with Faramir and Alcaron, and a host of Ithilien rangers when the Orcs ambushed them. During the fighting, both Faramir and Alcaron were taken captive . The heroes give chase, and eventually track their quarry to the mouth of the Morgul Valley. Before the fortress of Minas Morgul, the heroes must overcome a new challenge.

The Morgul Vale is played with an encounter deck formed of encounter sets: The Morgul Vale, Mordor Elite, and Creatures of the Forest. The latter two sets are found in the Heirs of Númenor expansion.

In this 60 card adventure pack you will find a new hero for the Tactics sphere – and new attachments and allies to help your heroes in their quest. Minas Morgul is home to deadly foes, you will also find formidable enemies in this expansion.
