Description
You want to treat the visitors at your home to the same level of hospitality that they might find at the world’s premiere attractions, like Jurassic Park. But just as John Hammond did, you face an obstacle in Chaos Theory: the unpredictability of human behavior could throw a huge monkey wrench into your hosting plans. And as Chaos Theory clearly states (somewhere after the mumbled passage on the Butterfly Effect), at any gathering you can expect that at least one guest will fail to use a coaster, but you can never predict which guest(s), or when.
You can set up electric fences, hire the brightest minds in science, and do everything you can to try and control your guests’ behavior… or you can simply prepare for the inevitable and offer them a coaster when the time comes. So when they’ve finished demonstrating their knowledge by dropping water over each others’ hands, slide one of these Jurassic Park coasters over to them to protect your table’s surface. There are four ceramic coasters included in the set and each one features a different Jurassic Park design (logo, skeleton fossil, T. rex footprint, and claw marks). Put your cup down on top of one of these, and then all you need to do is watch for the ripples in the water. Now that’s Chaos Theory!
