Circus, run by ringmaster Max Medici (DeVito), is taken over by V.A. Vandevere (Keaton), an entrepreneur who seeks to exploit the show’s star attraction, Dumbo the flying elephant. In his new entertainment venture, Dreamland, Vandevere pairs Dumbo with trapeze artist Colette Marchant (Green), with spectacular success.
