Doctor Who: Autons

Description

The Autons are terrifying living plastic automatons controlled by the Nestene Consciousness. These fearsome killers are often disguised as shop window mannequins – male, female and even child-like in appearance. They are activated to massacre whoever gets in their way as the Nestene force tries to take over our planet.
Auton hands conceal powerful guns capable of killing or vaporising their targets. Autons are virtually indestructible, being immune to most human weaponry. Only radio signals can disrupt them, with their permanent deactivation only possible if their controlling Nestene manifestation is destroyed. Autons are also capable of cloning the appearance of humans to infiltrate society and have posed as military leaders, policemen, government officials and even children’s dolls.
