Ludonaute’s Colt Express was a huge hit back in 2014, winning the Spiel des Jahres award. As a result, it’s earned itself some excellent expansions – and here’s another one of them! The Colt Express Bandits Expansions are a series of six separate mini expansions. These see the players to compete against an extra competitor for the train’s riches. This time, you’re playing against Cheyenne, one of the original bandits, herself…

Colt Express: Bandits – Cheyenne allows 2-5 players to shoot, loot, and program their route throughout a 3D train. It’s a classic American West train robbery, where players have asymmetrical powers. Only this time, Cheyenne isn’t one of the playable characters. She’s a rival bandit, also looking to strike it rich!

In some ways, you need to work together with your fellow bandits to ensure Cheyenne doesn’t win. But remember, there can only be one winner in Colt Express – and that’s the richest bandit. Will it be you? Someone else sat at the table? Or will you all lose to the deadly green meeple that is Cheyenne?

In this expansion, Cheyenne doesn’t have a gun. Instead, she has a more traditional bow and arrow. She has cards in her deck that allow her to fire an arrow. So rather than giving them a bullet card, they receive an arrow card. And Cheyenne has poisoned her arrow tips… That’s right! If you get hit, you’re poisoned. If you fail to locate the antidote before the end of the game, you lose by default – regardless of how much loot you stole!

Cheyenne also has the ability to move around the train faster than the human players. Her swiftness means when she ends movement at a location where other bandits are, she takes one purse from each of them.

With a deadly bow and extra-light on her feet, Cheyenne is a dangerous foe on board this train!
