The Lord of the Rings (LotR), the Card Game is a cooperative, Living Card Game (LCG) published by Fantasy Flight Games. One – two players (or up to four, with two core sets) take control of powerful characters and artifacts. Players will gather allies and coordinate efforts to take on the biggest threats to Middle-earth.
The City of Corsairs is the last of six adventure packs, each providing a structured scenario to play though. Collectively, the six scenarios form the Dream-chaser Cycle – An extended adventure that takes place after the events that unfolded in The Grey Havens Deluxe expansion.
Note: This product is not a standalone adventure. Players will need a copies of The LotR card game: Core set and The Grey Havens expansion in order to play.
Having come to the aid of Dol Amorth, your heroes board the Dream-chaser once more and set sail for Umbar – the land of the Corsairs. This adventure pack features two new encounter sets which will challenge you to navigate the coastal waters of Umbar – and battle past Corsair ships, before making landfall. Only then can your heroes pursue the stolen Númenorean artifact. Be wary, for the artifact has bestowed a powerful, but corrupting power on your adversaries.
The City of Corsairs is played with an encounter deck formed of encounter sets: The City of Corsairs, Coast of Umbar, Stormy Weather, Umbar Fleet, Voyage Across Belegaer, Corsair Raiders, and The Dream-chaser’s fleet. The latter five sets are found in The Grey Havens expansion.
In this 60 card adventure pack you will discover a new hero for the Tactics sphere and a host of Gondor allies.
