MATAGOT GAMES HISTORY
Matagot Games was founded by Hicham Ayoub Bedran in 2005, with the publication of RPG games Cendres and Te Deum for a Massacre. Hicham was joined by Arnaud Charpentier soon after and the company releases their first board games, Expedition Atiplano and Tomahawk, in 2006. Since then, the company has gone on to release several top-selling board games, each split into their five product categories: Expert, Gateway, Family, Kids and Role-Playing Games. One of Matagot Games' most entertaining game is Takenoko, otherwise known as 'The Panda Game'. This board game has won several awards, including the Golden Geek Award for Artwork and Presentation in 2012.

Heading into the family range, Matagot Games suggest titles such as Meeple Circus, Takenoko and River Dragons. For those of you who are relatively new to the hobby, Matagot suggest taking a look at games such as Room 25 and Raptor. One of the best-selling games from this French publisher is Captain Sonar. In this co-operative game, you and your friends take on the role of a submarine crew. A new family version of the game, simply known as Sonar, was released this year.
