Yes! No! is a party game that forces you to think quick on your feet. Anywhere between two to six players can join in the fun, where anything goes – except the words “yes” and “no”!
The game comes with a deck of cards that have a series of questions on them. One player reads these questions out to an opponent in a rapid-fire fashion. The opponent’s job is to answer the questions as quick as they can. Sounds simple! But they cannot answer using either the words “yes” or “no”! Neither can they repeat the same answer, twice.
If at any point they answer with a yes or a no, then the question-reader gets to keep the card. If, however, they answer all questions without uttering the forbidden words, they get to keep the card. The winner is the player with the most cards at the end of the game.
Yes! No! is a simple party game that has a 20-second rules teach. It’s the ideal kind of candidate for an ice-breaker to bring out at parties. It even comes with a reception-style bell you can tap with a ding if ever the player utters either “yes” or “no”! There’s a deck of 50 cards here, with plenty of questions on each card, so there’s a lot of variability.
The suggested player count is two to six players, but you could probably play with more people if you wanted. Any kind of party game like this tends to be better with larger crowds. So we’d suggest it shines brighter when more than two players join in the madness!
