The Mind Soulmates (UK Edition)

The Mind is a simple little card game that requires you to get into the minds of your teammates. You will work in tandem (and in total silence) in order to play out your hands of cards in ascending order. The cards are numbered between 1 and 100 and you have a hand of cards equal to the round that you are on. For example, in round 2 everyone has 2 cards, in round 7 everyone has 7 etc. You will use a shuriken card in order to strategies and play everyone’s lowest number.

The Mind Extreme evolves the game further by bringing in another set of cards that get shuffled together. Both coloured numbered cards range between 1 and 50. The new cards are red coloured numbers and need to be played in descending order.

The Mind Soulmates is the newest game in the series and expands upon the base game concept by having players play their cards in ascending order like the original one, but now all the cards need to be played face down. They are only revealed at the end of the round after all cards have been played. The Mind Soulmates also gives one player the role of ‘seer’. The seer has special abilities of being able to give clues on a wipe clean board and can look at the facedown stack to see if the cards are in order. The seer declares if the players have completed the round correctly, and if not, redistributes the cards in order for players to play the round again. Players will lose a life if the level is not completed correctly and the seer is allowed to give one further hint before the players start playing again.
