The Zatu Show Episode 2: Family Fun

Zatu_Blogpost_taskmaster

Every month, The Zatu Show will be delivering the top gaming countdowns, a peek into our subscription boxes and a look into life behind the meeples here at Zatu HQ.

Be sure to pop over to the Zatu Games YouTube channel to watch this month’s episode.

This month, we are bringing you our top 5 games to play with the family. From the most exciting releases in the video game world to soon-to-be staples on your board game shelves, The Zatu Show leaves no dice tray unturned!

Taskmaster Board Game

Much like the show hosted by Greg Davies and (little) Alex Horne, Taskmaster brings the show to you! You are set different tasks which you must complete to be crowned the champion! It’s a fun, competitive game to judge or be judged with all the family. This game will get you moving around the whole house, all whilst you complete your secret task… During this time indoors, keep the fun alive and the energy high with Taskmaster: The Board Game.

Just Dance 2021

Get the whole family up and moving with Just Dance 2021, on all platforms! With some of your favourite songs and top hits from 2020, there really is something for everyone. Just Dance 2021 contains many dances for solo play, duos, trios and even groups. Some of the dance tracks on offer include Rain on Me by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, Adore You by Harry Styles, Runaway by Galantis and many more. So, if you want to get up and boogie this January, Just Dance 2021 is for you. Try and take on our resident Just Dance champion, Arthur!

Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist Board Game

Whether you think it’s a Christmas film or not, Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist is an amazing game with its asymmetric gameplay. One player embodies John McClane, whilst others act as thieves who are trying to foil McClane’s plan. This game of strategy perfectly honours the 1988 film. This one can get incredibly competitive, so you had better get into character as this one can be intense.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Another franchise that just keeps getting better and better! Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War acts as a direct sequel to the original. It puts the audience into the depths of the Cold War battle of the early 1980s. In the campaign mode, players come face to face with danger in a thrilling story that will have gamers gripped. Tactical and fast thinking is always involved to reach your target and to unlock achievements to earn your title. Complimenting the free-to-play Warzone, take some time out and return to Black Ops.

Blockbuster

Last on our list comes from the masters of the party game, Big Potato Games. Blockbuster is the game for anyone that has ever seen a movie! In two teams, you will battle each through rounds of charades, wordplay and quotes. The packaging of this game has another nostalgic element, a classic VHS. Blockbuster is a name the film kind of game. Starting with a head-to-head against the other team, you must name as many films as you can back to back to win the round.
