Tabletop Gaming Awards 2021

Tabletop Gaming Awards 2021
Tabletop Gaming Awards 2021

We're all familiar with Tabletop Gaming. From their magazine to their convention, Tabletop has been bringing us the best board game related content faster than our hungry little gaming minds can handle. However, they've gone a step further and we would now like to introduce the Tabletop Gaming Awards!

Board Game Awards

The Tabletop Gaming Awards are not the first awards given for board games by any means. You have the Golden Geek Awards, the Dice Tower Awards, among many other board game awarding bodies.

However, we are particularly excited about this one as Tabletop is so close to our hearts, alongside the fact that besides the usual categories such as 'best board game' and 'best party game' they're offering a few silly categories we can't wait to vote in!

The Categories

Anyone can vote in the Tabletop Gaming Awards 2021. Simply go to their website and click vote now.

You'll then be shown a collection of categories including:

  • Best Miniatures Game 2021
  • Best Board Game 2021
  • Best Card Game 2021
  • Best Roleplaying Game 2021
  • Best Indie Game 2021
  • The Best Way to Die in an RPG Award
  • Best for Your Gran International Game Award
  • I'm Suprised I'm Still Thinking About and Playing This Game in 2021 Award
  • Most Novel Component Award
  • Outside the Box Award For Best Add-in Accessory

The nominations are then compiled into a shortlist by a panel of judges. The shortlist will then go to popular vote. Editor's choices awards will also be handed out.

Click here to vote. Before voting, keep in mind that:

  • The games must have been released in the UK between September 2020 and September 2021
  • It must be a 'new' game, not a re-release. New editions are fine if there are substantial updates to the game
  • Kickstarter and crowdfunded games are fine, as long as they arrived with backers in the UK within the above timeframe
  • Please only nominate games you've played

Those are the only rules so go ahead and get voting for your favourite games of 2021 and beyond!
