PS Plus: Free Games for November

A new month means more free games for all PS Plus users, whether they have a PS4, PS3 or a PS Vita. Its a great time for everybody as let's be honest, who wouldn't want two free games to play on?

Here's the list for Novembers PS Plus free games:

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture (PS4)

A game which takes place in England! Now that's quite rare. This story-based, first-person shooter takes place in the deserted village of Yaughton, Shropshire, in the 1980s. All is not what it seems in this village as all of its residents have mysteriously disappeared.

Your task? To find find out how and why everybody has disappeared! The campaign will take you across the village as you interact with objects and clues. There are orbs floating in the air which helps guide you to your next bit of evidence.

This game is slightly different but it definitely worth a try in November.

The Deadly Tower of Monsters (PS4)

A top-down shooting game that follows three famous actors as they experience sci-fi movie setting adventures - sounds interesting. The creator's description makes it sound even more interesting: "Fire up your ray guns, crystal swords, and laser whips, and get ready for thrills and chills! With three incredible movie stars playing out decidedly B-level sci-fi exploits, Dick Starspeed, Scarlet Nova, and Robot will have you ready to jump off the side of the tower—right into adventure!"

In this 'movie' game, Starspeed has crash landed onto the mysterious plant of Gravoria and must topple its greatest menace in order to restore peace. Aided with director commentary from Dan Smith this game really is unique.

Dirt 3 (PS3)

A member of one of my all-time favourite racing game series, Dirt 3 will provide you with hours of fun. Dirt 3 features all of the best features from the previous games, including the flashback system.

The new addition to the series was the entertaining, if not slightly difficult, gymkhana mode. This is the genre made famous by Ken Block, who features on the game. Players will go through tracks which contains many obstacles such as cones and barrels. In order to score the most points you will need to perform 180 and 360 degree spins, complete figure of eights, drift and park in tight park spaces at speed.

Other new features include a Hardcore mode which limits players to the cockpit view with no assists, the appearance of rain and snow, and the ability to upload replay clips directly to YouTube! This game is a must have for all racing fans! 

Costume quest 2 (PS3)

A perfect game for Halloween as you "trick, treat and fight with villainous dental soldiers in order to find all of the candy. Wren and Reynold are back with their friends and are ready to thwart the plans of the evil Dr Orel White - who, would you believe it, wants to banish Halloween!

Along your trick or treat adventure you will encounter many monsters and soldiers as you hunt down the cool costumes and candy. Each costume also has cool abilities! For example if you are dressed as werewolf you will literally become a werewolf!

This is a fun, laid back game that will be perfect for the kids this Halloween.

Letter Quest Remastered (PS Vita + Cross buy with PS4)

A scrabble-based RPG game, yep that's what Letter Quest is! You need to spell words in order to beat all of the monsters, earn gems and purchase fancy upgrades, books, potions and other special items.

You play as grim reapers Grimm and Rose and must defeat the monsters, ghosts and evil bunnies! This remastered version features colourful high-res artwork, clever wordplay, cool soundtrack and a new endless game mode!

Give your brain a challenge and take on Letter Quest - the fun version of Scrabble!

Pumped BMX+ (PS Vita + Cross buy with PS4 and PS3)

This one looks fun! A fast-paced arcade BMX game which sees you riding through dangerous courses around the world. You will need to conquer all of the landscapes and learn all of the tricks and stunts if you are going to win!

You get to customise your very own BMX, as well as your helmet and character. Backgrounds include the desert and snowy mountains, with various different jumps and half pipes for you to master.

Pumped BMW+ is a simple yet enjoyable arcade game that is definitely worth a few hours of your time.
