Description

Little Sister’s Book & Art Emporium, Vancouver’s legendary gay and lesbian bookstore, has long fought the Canadian government against regular seizures of material destined for the store (branded by Canada Customs as |obscene|), including two volumes of adult comic books from the Meatmen series. Now, in defence of the work of many prominent gay artists, this volume of graphic art confronts the serious issues around the denial of civil rights and freedom of speech. Proceeds will be donated to the Little Sister’s Defence Fund to assist in their legal challenge.
