The Lord of the Rings (LotR), the Card Game is a cooperative, Living Card Game (LCG) published by Fantasy Flight Games. One – two players (or up to four, with two core sets) take control of powerful characters and artifacts. Players will gather allies and coordinate efforts to take on the biggest threats to Middle-earth.

The Blood of Gondor is the fifth of six adventure packs, each providing a structured scenario to play though. Collectively, the six scenarios form The Against the Shadow Cycle – An extended adventure that takes place after the events that unfolded in the Heirs of Númenor Deluxe expansion.

Note: This product is not a standalone adventure. Players will need a copies of The LotR card game: Core set and the Heirs of Númenor expansion in order to play.

Osgiliath has been retaken. Soldiers of Gondor, lead by Boromir now scourge the city of the Orcs and evil men who laid siege to it. He asks the Rangers of Ithilien to pursue the fleeing enemy and harry them back into the mountains. Faramir and Lord Alcaraon lead the pursuit, with your heroes in support. All goes well until the column reaches lands under the sway of the Dark Lord…

The Blood of Gondor is played with an encounter deck formed of encounter sets: The Blood of Gondor and Ravaging Orcs. The latter set is found in the Heirs of Númenor expansion.

In this 60 card adventure pack you will find Caldara, a new hero for the Spirit sphere as well as new allies and attachments. Your heroes will need them if they are to overcome the enemies that await them.
