Push It will not only have you singing the famous Salt’N’Pepa song of the same name but also having a blooming fun flicking time – PUSH IT REAL GOOD!
Made from high quality wooden components the whole game can be carried anywhere in a provided sack. Find a suitable playing area – tables work very well. And start! There is a lot of freedom in the rules, you are allowed to flick, push, or chop your discs for example.
The official rules play out much like curling or bowls. A neutral disc is flicked to the middle of the table and players take turns trying to flick, push, hit, kick or lick their discs nearest the neutral disc. Of course the simplicity doesn’t reveal the fun that will be had pushing it real good.
Like any game of dexterity, Push It is a mix of skill, luck and chaos. It’s not taken as seriously as something like Crokinole, but it doesn’t have the massive board or cost either. Shots of skill will be celebrated by all present and mishaps will see everyone laughing along.
It is a brilliantly portable ‘gateway’ dexterity game but also a tool kit for your your own rules and variants. You can play two, three or four players, and at four you can play separately (quite chaotic) or as teams.
Plus even if you graduate on to more complex and posh dexterity games Push it is small enough, quick enough, and more than fun enough to keep around!
