Magic the Gathering (MtG) is a collectable card game for 2 or more players. Each game represents a battle between powerful wizards, known as Planeswalkers, who have the ability to travel the multiverse. Players will cast spells, summon creatures, and deploy artifacts to overcome their opponents. Typically, a player will win by reducing their opponent’s starting life points to zero, but there are other paths to victory.

To play the game, each player will need a deck of at least 60 cards. Players may use pre-constructed decks or customised decks created from their personal card collection.Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths is the 84th expansion for Magic the Gathering (MtG), released on 24 April 2020. 274 cards make up this set: 111 commons, 80 uncommons, 53 rares, 15 mythic rares, and 15 basic lands.

The new mechanics: Mutate and Keyword Counters represent the key theme of the set, "create your own monster".Commander is a hugely popular variant from the standard format of play. A game of Commander is played with a 100-card deck (99 cards, plus a nominated Commander). The Commander must be a legendary creature (or in some instances, a legendary Planeswalker).

The deck can only contain cards that share a colour with the Commander; it cannot contain more than one copy of any card (except for basic lands).
