Description

The new Golden Snitch Heliball from the British inventors at Wow! Stuff was immediately selected from hundreds of nominees as a finalist for the USA’s ASTRA’s 2018 Best Toys for Kids list and looks like being a sell-out success this season. The hugely popular miniature droid LED Heliball has been transformed into the ultimate Quidditch accessory for Wizarding World fans.

The Golden Snitch Heliball not only flies but it allows the user to customise its flight pattern from random directions to vertical flight by adjusting the angles of the wings, making it perfect for Seekers in training! Using patented proximity sensor technology, the Snitch will hover in the air and magically fly away when you try to catch it from below. The new toy is sure to be a firm favourite amongst aspiring Quidditch players eager to recreate their favourite film scenes and has already been shortlisted for several more industry awards. The hand-painted and moulded body of the Snitch and the mechanical flappin wings create a highly realistic appearance which will transport children and adults alike into their own magical wizarding world. When not in use, the Snitch can take pride of place in any bedroom or desk on the display plinth included, alongside the free Quidditch poster.

Warning: Flying requires a certain level of skill. Please practise in open, obstacle-free areas and be prepared for the inevitable bump and crash as you learn to fly. Suitable for indoor use only. Flying remote control toys into solid objects will break them more easily than, for example, remote control cars. Do not fly in small rooms and take great care there are no obstacles in your way. If they are flown too close to walls or ceilings the blades or mechanics can be disrupted or broken on impact, due to their precise construction that enables a balanced flight.

Always fly in a room with a high ceiling. Hold Heliball ensuring the Proximity Sensor is not covered by your hand, as if it is the Heliball might contnue to fly to the ceiling and remain there until discharged, or until the battery charge is at a lower level than maximum. It is advisable to hold the Heliball firmly for around one or 2 seconds after it has been activated to allow it to ‘settle down’, before waving your spare hand (that is not holding Heliball) twice beneath it to activate the sensors.

Occasionally, especially over the initial charge and the first 20-30 flights, and often in bright light conditions, the Snitch will fly higher than anticipated and move along the ceiling (the Snitch will do anything to evade capture!). If the Snitch remains on the ceiling for long periods simply point and press the fob on/off controller within 1-2 metres (3-6 feet) distance to stop flights and catch the Snitch as it falls to the ground.
