Chaos Space Marine Forgefiend

Maulerfiends and Forgefiends are Daemon engines forged by the Dark Mechanicum for the sole purpose of mindless destruction.

Known as ‘stalker-tanks’ or scalers’ to imperial troops, Maulerfiends tear through the battlefield. They are capable of ripping through infantry and heavy armour alike. With deceptively sharp senses and cat-like agility, there is nowhere to hide from these daemonic battering rams.

While their cousins wreak carnage in the enemy lines, Forgefiends sow death and destruction amongst enemy forces from afar. Most commonly armed with hades autocannons, Forgefiends scythe down infantry with contemptuous ease. Still, when the need is dire a Chaos Lord can opt to equip their Forgefiends with several ancient, pre-heresy, Ectoplasma cannons. The three maws of these cannons hurl a devastating mix of ectoplasma and warpfire, reducing anything caught to tainted ash.

This is a multi-part plastic kit consisting of 67 parts which allow you to create a Maulerfiend armed with either a pair of Magma Cutters or Lasher Tendrils, or a Forgefiend armed with Hades Autocannons and Ectoplasma cannons. The kit is supplied with one 60mm base.

Maulerfiends serve as great linebreakers. Equip one with lasher tendrils, cast Diabolic Strength on it and utilise Warptime to get it that vital turn one charge. Alternatively, equip it with Magma Cutters and utilise its high mobility to hunt down tanks and other armoured vehicles.

Forgefiends may not seem as good as Havocs or Predators due to their lower ballistic skill, but they are far more durable. Sit two on a primary objective with a Chaos Lord nearby and they will prove their worth tenfold.
