Meet the Zatu Games Team – Alex

MEET-THE-TEAM-FEB

Here at Zatu Games, we all work hard to bring you the best possible games along with delivering exclusive content straight to your door. You know our board games and you know our video games, but you don't know the team behind them all! Every month I will be sitting down with a different member of staff so you can meet the team. From customer service to marketing, no meeple will be left unturned!

Love is in the air this February. Get ready to meet Alex, our Customer Service Supervisor! When he isn't hard at work solving any of your issues, Alex can be found crafting beautiful cocktails, browsing his record collection or immersed in a night of board gaming. Come on down Alex!

Name: Alex

Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor

Favourite Colour: Red

Favourite Food: Lasagna is life.

Favourite Biscuit: Chocolate Bourbons (it's an AM thing, more on that in March's instalment)

Favourite Movie: The Life Aquatic

Favourite Character: BoJack Horseman

Hobbies: I collect records and spend most of my spare time listening to music

What’s been your highlight working at Zatu?

Game Nights!

What's your favourite video game and why?

Civilization - I've played every version of this game and lost many weeks of my life to it.

And what's your favourite board game and why?

Century Spice Road - easy to learn how to play, excellent game engine, and beautiful artwork

What was the first video game that you played?

The first console game I played was Duck Hunt on the NES!  The first PC game I really loved was Wolfenstein 3D.

What is the last board game that you played?

Exploding Kittens

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, would you rather give up chocolate forever, or give up cheese forever? And why?

Cheese.  Anyone who answers differently is a monster.  I would miss toasted cheese sandwiches though (cooked on a frying pan).

Be sure to check back next month to meet another member of the team here at Zatu! In the meantime, you can always keep up to date with everything going on at Zatu HQ over on Instagram @zatugames.

If you are interested in joining all of us game lovers here at Zatu, you can find out more here.
