Frontier Developments’ dinosaur theme park sim Jurassic World Evolution is getting a sequel. It’ll be rampaging its way to PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam later this year.
As with 2018’s Jurassic World Evolution, players will be tasked with building and maintaining their own dinosaur theme park. You’ll layout exhibits, tend to the wants and needs of your visitors, and try to make sure the attractions don’t eat your guests... unless they’re really annoying. Forget John Hammond! You'll be building and designing your very own dinosaur-infested island in this game.
"Life Uh... Finds a Way"
Jurassic World Evolution 2 will let players build parks across a range of new environments. From forests to deserts, all of which will include new building types. Which will allow players to utilise “deeper management tools and creative options”.
You’ll have 75 prehistoric species to play with, including new flying and marine reptiles. Frontier Developments also promises an “immersive” new narrative campaign set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The legendary Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their movie roles of Dr Ian Malcolm and Claire Dearing respectively.
"Hold Onto Your Butts"
There will also be new modes for players to enjoy. One of which will be the awesome sounding “Chaos Theory”. Which offers a “reimagined take on pivotal moments from the Jurassic World film franchise”. Sandbox and challenge modes will also make a welcome return.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is set to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC towards the end of this year.
