IELLO GAMES HISTORY

Iello were formed in 2004, in Nancy, France, as a distributor of board games. Four years later they began to enter partnerships with studios and started to publish board games as well. One of the first titles they translated for the French market was Neuroishima Hex. In 2010, the company began publishing games under the Iello brand.

In order to push their products even further, Iello opened a US division in 2012. A year prior to this move, the company released the hugely-successful King of Tokyo game.

Iello release a vast range of games with different genres, such as party games, strategy games and family games.

KING OF NEW YORK

King of New York is a standalone game from designer Richard Garfield that keeps the core ideas of King of Tokyo while introducing new ways to play. Your aim is to be the first monster to collect 20 victory points or to be the last monster standing. Each monster occupies a district within  New York, with the overall aim of controlling Manhattan.

KANAGAWA

Kanagawa, the great bay of Tokyo home to Master Hokusai and his painting school. You are one the great master disciples, and more than anything, you want to prove yourself worthy of the old artist. Follow his teachings to expand your studio and paint your preferred subjects  Be aware of the changing seasons and create art!

BUNNY KINGDOM

Lead your clan of rabbits to glory by gathering resources and building new cities across the Bunny Kingdom! Draft cards and pick the right ones to position your warrens on the 100 squares of the board, provide resources to your colonies, build new cities to increase your influence, and plan your strategy to score big at the end of the game.

MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS

Mountains of Madness is based on the novel by H.P. Lovecraft and is a fully co-operative board game with real-time gameplay. The survival of your team will depend on your ability to communicate with each other and to coordinate your efforts to overcome each obstacle. The things you discover will strongly test your mental health!

RAIDS

In Raids, players sail from island to island to collect vikings and viking-related paraphernalia, using them fight one another for good spaces and fight monsters for points. The game lasts four rounds, with tiles laid out at the various locations on the path that all players must follow. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.

SEA OF CLOUDS

​In Sea of Clouds, as captain of a flying pirate ship, recruit a cutthroat crew, collect relics and unearth the best rum by gathering shares of Loot. Then send your pirates aboard enemy ships to plunder their treasure! Players will take turns to divvy up shares of loot in order to gain Rum, Relics, Objects and Pirates. The game ends after 12 (or 15) rounds.

8 BIT BOX

8Bit Box is a board game that will remind you the golden age of video games as each player has a gamepad to program their actions, using three wheels: direction, symbol, and value. The base game contains three different games influenced by classic old-school video games - Outspeed, Pixoid and Stadium. Pixoid is the game's version of the legendary Pac-Man game.

STICKY CHAMELEONS

Each player has a long sticky “tongue”, and the table is covered with six types of insect tiles in six colours, along with a few fly tokens. To start a round, someone rolls the two dice; one showing a colour, the other an insect? Next, everyone rushes to “grab” the appropriately coloured insect tile by slapping it with their tongue. Insects will fly everywhere in Sticky Chameleons!

ARAMINI CIRCUS

In Aramini Circus 2-5 players compete to build trains comprised of rail cars of different goods and values. However, players are restricted in connecting rail cars of only the same value or good type, so if you grab a rail car you can't use, it needs to wait in your sorting yard until it can legitimately hook up to your train. This is a points collection game!
