GALAXY TRUCKER HISTORY
The original version of Galaxy Trucker was published by Czech Games Edition and was released in 2007. It's a tile laying game that plays out over two phases: building and flying. The goal is to have the most credits at the end of the game. The base game won the 2012 Ludoteca Ideale Award, and was nominated for several Golden Geek awards back in 2008.
Since its launch, there have been several expansions released for Galaxy Trucker. The first expansion came in 2008, known as The Big Expansion, followed by Another Big Expansion in 2012. A video game version of Galaxy Trucker was released onto the iPad, iPhone and Android devices in 2014. An expansion for the mobile version, Alien Technologies, was released in 2016.

"The game consists of three rounds. In each round, the players begin by rummaging through the Warehouse, trying to grab the best components and build the best space ship. Once the ships are under way, the players try to avoid snares and obstacles, while grasping financial opportunities, each hoping to be the first to finish with an undamaged ship.
