FANTASY FLIGHT GAMES HISTORY

Fantasy Flight Games is one of the most well-known and successful board game publisher in the world. The company is based in Roseville, Minnesota, and was established in 1995 by game designer Christian T. Petersen. Since the launch of Twilight Imperium in 1997, Fantasy Flight Games has gone on to make several successful partnerships in the board game world. In 2008 they partnered with Games Workshop to represent Warhammer and 40K settings in RPG, board and card games. This deal ended in 2016. In 2011, Fantasy Flight Game acquired the license for card, miniature and RPG games to be set within the Star Wars Universe. In order to expand internationally, the company merged with the Asmodee Group in 2016 and the duo have now created Fantasy Flight Interactive for digital versions of their board games.
