Today in our Board Game Spotlight we will be assembling our clan as we take a look at Ninja All Stars.
Ninja All-Stars is a new game coming from Soda Pop Miniatures and Ninja Division. During the game you will assembling your clans mightiest ninja and competing for honour and glory in the annual ninja games.
In Ninja All Stars up to four players will be taking control of ninja teams in an attempt to prove their superiority as they battle over objectives. Each of the teams will be drawn from a different ninja clan, providing a unique bonus depending on their elemental alignment.
The game's dice mechanic is also based on the element system, using a rock-paper-scissors type of dice elimination to determine the outcome of various aspects, such as combat and searching. Combat in Ninja All stars is not a simple "I rolled more swords than your shields" affair with the elimination of dice giving the winner a choice of different combat results based on the remaining outcomes.
Ninja All Stars also contains rules for one-off scenario play as well as a league system, which has guidelines for ninja advancement.
The real highlight here is the extraordinary quality of the miniatures included in the core game. It comes with 42 fully assembled miniatures and like all soda pop miniatures, they are wonderful chibi style sculpts.
Soda Pop miniatures and Ninja Division teamed up for the release of Ninja All Stars. Soda Pop providing there great sculpting style from games such as Super Dungeon Explore and Relic Knights, whilst Ninja Division provided the games rules.
Ninja Division have prior to this only released a small selection of games, with this being there first major endeavour.
