Hey, I am James! I am 25 and I have always been a gamer, whether that be video games (go Nintendo!) or more recently board games and trading card games. My favourite video game and franchise is and always will be Pokémon, and I am the proud owner of all of the Nintendo DS and Switch Pokémon games that have been released. I have collected Pokémon cards in the past but have slowly transitioned over to Disney Lorcana which I generally play casually with friends, but have competed in a few competitive tournaments over the past few months. My love for board games started in lockdown when I was back at home with my parents and we played board games every night for months on end. Ticket to ride - rails and sails was bought pre-lockdown brand new, and by the end of the year was battered from the amount we played it! Wingspan is another favourite of mine, especially with the expansions, followed closely by Azul - Queen's Garden for a more competitive edge. I am excited to write about Disney Lorcana and do some deep-dives into the competitive scene but also some fun themed decks and some new ways to play the game.
